We believe that these guidelines contribute to creating a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

1. Cancellation Policy

As a small resort, cancellations have a significant impact on our business. Therefore, we maintain a strict cancellation policy. In the event of a cancellation at Lake Dalrymple Resort, we will attempt to adjust your cottage dates, deducting the 25% non-refundable deposit and a $75.00 administration fee, plus HST. This is contingent on availability with the remaining funds carried over for the rest of the season (provided a minimum of 30 days notice is given). Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable.

2. Maximum Person Allowance/Additional Persons

Due to Fire & Insurance Regulations, each cottage has a maximum occupancy limit. Visitors must be registered at the Check-In Office, and unauthorised persons are prohibited on the premises for security reasons.

3. Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in time is 3:00 PM. Late check-ins should be communicated in advance. Check-out is at 10:30 AM to facilitate cleaning and preparation for the next guests. Cottage keys must be returned to the office. 

4. Self-Catering Cottages

Our fully equipped cottages include dishes and kitchenware for preparing food and cleaning. Bedding linen and towels are not provided. Please bring your own pillows.

5. Deposit Information

To secure a reservation a $200.00 Security Deposit by credit card is required. The balance is due at check-in. For weekends, long weekends, or after June 24th, July, and August weekly rentals, the deposit is non-refundable. Reservations under group or discounted rates are non-cancelable.

6. Pet Accommodation 

Pets must be registered and proof of vaccination shown at check-in. Please be responsible for your own pet. You must clean up after your pet and keep them on a leash when outside. 

7. Respectful Conduct

We are a family-friendly resort and guests are expected to conduct themselves with respect and courtesy towards others. Quiet hours are to be respected: midnight – 8:00 AM.
Fowl language, harassment, or disruptive behaviour that interferes with the enjoyment of the resort for others will not be tolerated. Excessive alcohol consumption leading to disruptive behaviour is also unacceptable.

8. Zero-Tolerance for Violence

Any form of physical violence, threat of violence, or intimidation towards guests or staff is unacceptable. Engaging in violent behaviour may result in immediate eviction from the resort without any refund.

9. Misuse of Facilities

Deliberate damage to resort property, including rooms, amenities, and common areas, is considered a serious offence. Please do not displace furniture. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their actions and charges will be applied accordingly. We do not allow tents.
Smoking in cottages is not permitted and will result in a $200.00 fine from your Security Deposit.
Empty your household garbage into dumpsters or grey bins, Recycle in appropriate bins (blue for containers and green for paper).
If you bring a charcoal BBQ, the coals must be emptied into the fire pit only. 

10. No Fireworks

We do not allow fireworks on our property – no exceptions. Ask us about where you might set them off locally.
